WHAT IS CORONAVIRUS?
Covid-19 is a new illness that can affect your lungs and airways. It is caused by a virus called Coronavirus. Symptoms can be mild, moderate, severe or fatal.
We are introducing new measures to help keep everyone safe
Following the government’s regulations, gatherings HAVE BEEN POSTPONED. This means that we can only offer events where guests stay in small groups at a social distance. Similar to a restaurant-style. We have calculated the maximum number of guests that can follow the social distancing guidelines inside at Pierremont Hall. A maximum of 15 guests is permitted inside at any time to ensure social distancing is in place and an extra 15 outside.
Weekend Events Only
To control the risk and protect our staff and tenants, we will only be permitting events to be held on weekends until rather notice.
We are offering the use of our new marquee and parasols for no extra charge whilst the restrictions are in place.
Indoor and outdoor seating will be set up to maintain social distancing guidelines.
No live entertainment
Until the Government restrictions change there is to be no live entertainment. This includes any loud music. Light background music is permitted.
Track and Trace
We’ll be taking contact details from customers, plus the times they are on the premises. These will need to be kept for 21 days and, if asked, we will provide them to NHS Test and Trace.
Please be reassured that your information will be stored securely, in line with data protection laws, and will not be shared with anyone else. We will also not use your data for any other reason, i.e. marketing.
We are doing this to help reduce the risk of any local outbreak – by sharing your information NHS Test and Trace can quickly identify people who have come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 and ask them to take the necessary precautions.
Food and Drink
All food and drink must be self-catered.
No buffets are allowed as this is a risk of cross-contamination. Options can be discussed with our Events Manager.
This is a Risk Assessment for dealing with the current Covid-19 situation in events. It is not likely to cover all scenarios and each person should consider their own unique circumstances. The following risk assessment covers the steps from the ‘Keeping workers and customers safe during COVID-19 in restaurants, pubs, bars and takeaway services’ COVID-19 secure guidance for employers, employees and the self-employed from 23 June 2020.
We have successfully passed the ‘We’re Good To Go Industry Standard’ by Visit Britain. This means they are satisfied that Pierremont Hall is indeed good to go.
