Whether you are hosting for a large gathering or a more intimate affair, Pierremont Hall is the perfect choice. We have two function rooms; the Mayor’s Parlour room and the Chamber Hall.

Council Chamber Hall


The Council Chamber Hall is located on the ground floor, with rear access to our outdoor space neighbouring Pierremont Park which has recently been redesigned with new planting, a pergola and improved seating, and paths.

This hall is perfect for conferences, weddings, birthday parties, plays, theatre productions, proms, award evenings and group meetings.

Capacity: hosts up to 70 guests

Availability: Monday to Sunday

Floor plan: Theatre, Boardroom, Cabaret and Banquet

£54 per hour (inc VAT)

From Saturday to Sunday
£80 per hour (inc VAT)

Weddings: A minimum of 3 hours is required.

Full Day Rate

£1000.00 (inc VAT)

From 10am to midnight

Mayor’s Parlour


The Mayor’s Parlour room is located on the first floor, following our Victorian-style staircase. This room is perfect for; conferences, intimate weddings, and community group meetings.

Capacity: hosts up to 12 guests

Availability: Monday to Friday (available at weekends for special events)

Floor plan: Theatre and Boardroom

Outside Space


Our outdoor event space is perfect for hosting community, fairs, markets and small festivals.

Pierremont Hall is a self-catered venue. 

We are a self-catered venue. This means that the hirer needs to arrange their own catering.

On-Site Caterer

This means when the hirer has arranged for a catering company to come and cook or prepare on-site. All caterers onsite should complete our Caterer Agreement and Standard Conditions of the On-Site Permission Agreement.

Non-On-Site Caterer

This means when the hirer has arranged for a catering company to deliver food for their event i.e. a buffet. It is the hire’s responsibility to know all ingredients in the food which is delivered and is responsible for temperature management.

Cleaning Fee

When our kitchen is used, there is a £120.00 (inc VAT) cleaning fee, added to the room hire.

Waste Disposal Fee

All on-site caters, as stated in the third party agreement, states that any cater on site should take their own waste away with them at the end of their time here at the event.

If the hirer has arranged a buffet, without an on-site caterer, then all food waste should be taken away at the end of the event by the hirer.

An optional £30.00 (inc VAT) rubbish fee will be offered to allow the venue to dispose of any food waste.

This fee is only offered for non on-site self caterers.
